Minecraft Terrain Changer is a tool designed to help you to change your Minecraft terrain.png.

Features :

  • Extraction of textures contained in the terrain.png in the folder you want,
  • Change of textures where you want in the terrain.png. This includes inserting a blank one and choosing one from disk,
  • Export changes made to the terrain.png.

This program is written in C#. It uses the Silk icon set. The Minecraft texture pack shown in the programm and this gallery is Aza’s Arid Pack. You can now donate via Paypal. Thank you.


  1. Got problems by changing orange wool texture. In the .png file it is changend, but when i load the texturepack in the game there’s no differnece.
    Can u help?

  2. Hello there, I have found no bugs with this. It’s absolutely fantastic.
    You should also add to the list of features that you can simply edit the items.png exactly the same way you do with the terrain.png.

    I’m surprised I haven’t heard of this sooner considering it’s been out a while now.

    I’ll be sure to make a video about this.

    I am curious though,
    Will there be updates to have this edit other textures such as the icons.png, gui.png or even the often missed out kz.png?
    Also could you perhaps host this on a second mirror (Mediafire perhaps?). It took me several attempts to download this from megaupload for some reason.

    This is very handy for a texture artist such as myself as well as a general user.
